I wrote this song about two months ago, before the song Empty Days. After working it out and mixing it, I wasn’t pleased with it, but I couldn’t put my finger on what it was that didn’t make it work. So I set it aside. Last week, I went back to this song as a friend of mine asked me if I didn’t have more happy songs. I redid the whole song, chose other instruments and mixed it again. I then waited a couple of days to make sure I was happy with this version and I am pleased to say that I am.
The song is heavily influenced by my love for Irish music, though there is also a hint of Eastern influences. I hope you like it.

When starting on this song, I only had a small part of the melody. I initially intended to work it out into a piano song. However, while writing and arranging, I thought the piano did not give to correct feel to this song. So I experimented with some other instruments, coming up with a combo of the english horn, violin, cello and flute.
